SNOW!
We’ve been meaning to post this for a while and just haven’t done it. A while ago, Austin got a good amount of snow. I stayed home with Matthew that day and we got to play outside in the snow. As you can see, Matthew didn’t like the experience very much. I think he is right at home in Austin.
It’s interesting to be thinking about snow right now as I sit on our patio experiencing the amazing weather in beautiful Austin. It’s sunny and about 70 degrees. This morning we went to Zilker Park for the third time this week to play on the playscape and build sand castles.
I can’t believe it is almost Spring. Spring also means that it’s Matthew’s birthday. He was born on the first day of Spring (or the vernal equinox which is officially the middle of spring). We can’t believe that our little guy is almost two years old. It doesn’t seem like he should be that old yet.

I am glad he wasn’t visiting this winter. We had the worst winter ever. We had one storm where we got 5-6 inches and then a few other events that we had 2-3 inches. We got lucky that we didn’t have Ice storms. He looked cute with all the winter clothes. Let him know, I like warm weather also and I don’t like snow. I don’t care if we never have snow or ice again.
